Outfit van de dag ("the App") is a service built by Mikail Ayik ("I", "me", or "my") as a Freemium app. This Service is provided by Mikail Ayik at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

By choosing to use my Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way, except as described in this privacy policy.

A. User Account & Authentication (Supabase)

To create an account, personalize your experience, and sync your wardrobe across devices, we use Supabase. When you sign up, we collect and store:

• Your Full Name: To address you personally within the application.
• Your Email Address: For authentication and account recovery purposes.
• User ID: A unique identifier to link your data to your account.
• Authentication Tokens: To keep you logged in securely.

This data is stored securely on Supabase servers.

B. Photos and Wardrobe Data

The core functionality of the App involves analyzing and organizing your clothing items.

• Collection: You upload photos of your clothing to the App.
• Image Recognition (Machine Learning): We use proprietary Machine Learning models to automatically identify the type, color, and category of your clothing (e.g., detecting that a photo contains a "blue shirt"). This processing happens on our secure backend.
• Outfit Generation (Smart Algorithms): Once your items are digitized, our styling algorithms combine them into outfits based on your wardrobe data.
• Storage: The photos and the derived data are stored in our secure database (Supabase). We do not share your personal photos with public AI datasets.

C. Technical Data & Crash Logs (Sentry & Upstash)

To ensure the app runs smoothly and to fix bugs quickly, we use third-party tools:

• Sentry: If the app crashes, Sentry collects a log that may include your device model, operating system version, and the technical state of the app at the time of the crash.
• Upstash (Redis): We use Upstash to manage server load and processing queues, ensuring the app remains fast and responsive.

D. Subscription Data (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchase validation.

• RevenueCat may collect anonymous App User IDs to track subscription status.
• Payment Information: We do not have access to, nor do we store, your credit card information. All financial transactions are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store).

2. Third-Party Service Providers

I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• To facilitate our Service;
• To provide the Service on our behalf;
• To perform Service-related services; or
• To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose. The key providers we use are:

• Supabase: Database, Authentication, and File Storage.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management.
• Sentry: Error reporting and crash logging.
• Upstash: Server performance and request queuing.
• Apple Store & Google Play: Payment processing.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

• In-App: You can delete your account directly within the App settings by selecting the "Delete Account" option.
• Effect: When you delete your account, your authentication data, full name, email, all uploaded photos of your outfits, and your wardrobe data are permanently removed from our Supabase database and storage buckets.

4. Security

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. All data communication between the App and our backend is encrypted via SSL/TLS. Your photos and data are stored in secure environments provided by Supabase. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
